Pete Alonso is reportedly set to join the Baltimore Orioles . According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan , Alonso is finalizing a five-year, $155 million contract with Baltimore. It was also revealed shortly after Passan’s reporting (via MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo), that the Mets reportedly never offered Alonso a deal .
With Alonso reportedly set to join the Orioles, Passan followed up his initial post about Alonso with a controversial, steaming-hot take.
Passan suggested that the Orioles now have the best lineup in baseball .
