Multiple snow chances next week could bring significant accumulation

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The light snow that moved through southern Wisconsin this morning is quickly moving out of the area. As we head into Wednesday evening, expect mostly cloudy skies with gusty north to northwest winds continuing through the day.

There’s a chance for light snow or flurries to develop in the southwestern parts of southern Wisconsin this afternoon and evening. Any snow that does fall won’t amount to much due to dry air in the atmosphere.

Thursday brings another round of light snow, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours. Southwest portions of the area have the best chance of seeing accumulating snow from this system.
