MADISON, Wis. -- Next year will be USL League One's biggest season ever, and Forward Madison will be apart of it.

The Mingos will be joined by 17 other clubs in 2026, including five debuting squads. That's the most amount of teams in league history. The league announced its competition format for the upcoming season on Wednesday.

The regular season will kick off on March 7 and end on Oct. 24, and each club will play a full home-and-home schedule. That means Forward Madison will play each other team in the league once at home and once on the road, for a total of 34 games.

On top of the regular season, Forward Madison will also play at least four games against USL Championship and League One teams in the Jägermeister Cup.
