The family of a 22-year-old Rutgers University student missing for nearly three weeks is urging the arrest of a man who was charged with threatening him this summer and was the last person to see him.
Mortimer Wortman was last seen on surveillance footage Nov. 21 getting into Adam Zalouk’s car in the parking lot of Regional Day School in Jackson, his brother Ivan Marks said.
On Monday, a judge postponed a hearing at the Ocean County Courthouse for Zalouk, 33, who faces charges for allegedly threatening Wortman with a knife and ramming his car during a July 26 incident in Point Pleasant, Marks said.
