BEREA — Browns coach Kevin Stefanski announced Dec. 8 that Shedeur Sanders would be the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season. While only four games, it's a decision that will have a long-term tail that extends well past the finale in Cincinnati.

Sanders isn't thinking long-term, though. For him, it's all about the next one, Dec. 14 at the Chicago Bears .

"Yeah, that's a long, deep thought," Sanders said Dec. 10. "That's not in my focus. My focus right now is the team we're playing ahead, the Bears .
