A 22-year-old Soddy Daisy woman is facing a slew of charges after deputies discovered two dead dogs, large piles of trash, and feces in an apartment after receiving a report of a foul odor.

Back in late September, deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office responded to an apartment on Barbara Lane after people reported smelling "something dead" in the suite, according to an affidavit obtained by Local 3 News.

The law enforcement officers had maintenance crews let them inside after no one responded to their knocks on the front and back doors. Trash also blocked the windows, so nobody could look inside.
