Commends HRDS India for honouring Savarkar’s legacy
Jammu, Dec 10: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday paid tribute to Veer Savarkar, describing him as a “valiant son of Mother India” whose life was dedicated to the country’s freedom and development.
He was speaking at the ‘Veer Savarkar International Impact Award’ ceremony organised by the High-range Rural Development Society (HRDS India) in New Delhi.
Highlighting Savarkar’s enduring legacy, the Lieutenant Governor said, “Savarkar is a symbol of India’s success, strength, prosperity, resolve, dedication, sensitivity, simplicity, perseverance, culture, and dreams. For him, India was never merely a piece of land, but the centre of human civilization.”
