Angola football coach Andy Thomas has announced he is stepping down, the Hornets announced on Wednesday.
Thomas has led Angola for 12 seasons, leading the Hornets to a 68-59 record. During his tenure, Angola won three conference titles and sectional titles in 2017, 2018 and 2025. This season, the Hornets went 7-6 and reached the regional title game, where they fell to Knox 28-21.
Thomas also coached at Garrett from 2000 through 2005 and Culver from 2006 to 2013 and has a career record of 158-126.
