The Mungo Homes Foundation presented a $4,500 check to the Greer Soup Kitchen on Dec. 10.

The check presentation was part of the foundation’s fifth annual Week of Giving held Dec. 8-12. Throughout the week, the foundation distributed financial donations and organized volunteer events in the 10 markets Mungo Homes builds in.

Other Upstate organizations that received a donation during Week of Giving include: • Shriners Children’s Hospital: $14,000 • Upstate Family Resource Center: $12,000 • JUMPSTART: $7,500 • Safe Harbor: $2,000

The donation recipients were nominated by Mungo Homes team members and selected by the local Mungo Homes Foundation Board of Advisors. In total, the foundation donated nearly $300,000 this year to organizations throughout all 10 markets.
