Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is a target for clubs in the Saudi Pro League. The Egyptian raised eyebrows on Saturday night when he gave an explosive interview in the mixed zone following his side’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United.
Salah claimed he had been “thrown under the bus” after being dropped to the bench by Arne Slot and also said Saturday’s clash with Brighton could be his last game for the club. As a result of the interview, he was omitted from the squad for Tuesday’s 1-0 Champions League win over Inter Milan at the San Siro.
Salah signed a new contract in April which made him the club’s highest-paid player, but clubs in the Saudi Pro League teams are now monitoring his situation.
