HUDSON, Ohio – Hudson’s annual German-inspired Christmas market, Christkindlmarkt, returns to the Clocktower Green this Friday through Sunday near the city’s downtown.
The Hudson-Landsberg Sister City organization has hosted the free event since 2018. Hudson and the German city of Landsberg am Lech have been Sister Cities since 1984. The relationship features a high-school youth exchange program and summer travel opportunities between the cities.
More than 20 gift vendors will offer German and seasonal items at the event, which is reminiscent of a traditional European/German Christmas market. Food vendors will offer a variety of German specialty foods, such as roasted meats, strudels and baked chimney cakes. Beverages include mulled wine, craft beer and warm apple cider.
