HANOVER, Pa. — Birdwatchers and nature lovers just got a great holiday gift -- the Hanover Eagle Cam is back online this year, just in time for the 2026 nesting season.

And the nest's current occupants, a couple Eagle Cam fans have dubbed Duke and Dutchess, appear to be preparing the nest for new arrivals.

"It's so good to have eagles back at the nest, and this pair is serious about their construction!" one comment in the stream's chat section said Wednesday morning.

HDonTap and the Pennsylvania Game Commission began streaming the nest, located about 75 feet above the ground in a tree near a private home in Codorus State Park, since 2014.
