USL League One announced that it will use a single table, home-and-away format for the 2026 regular season, with Fort Wayne Football Club serving as one of five new clubs to the league. The 18-team league will feature a 34-game regular season next year, up from 30 in 2025.
In the single table format that kicks off March 7 and ends Oct. 24, each club will play every other club in the league twice, once each at home and on the road. Fort Wayne will join Athletic Club Boise, Corpus Christi FC, the New York Cosmos and Sarasota Paradise as clubs new to League One in 2026.
