MADISON, Wis. -- Three staff members were placed on administrative leave after an investigation into Slender Man stabber Morgan Geyser leaving a group home on Nov. 22.

The Department of Corrections said on the night of Saturday, Nov. 20. Electronic Monitoring Center staff began working on the alarm in question at 11:10 p.m. and after attempts were unsuccessful to reset the device, they called the point of contact for the residence. Residence staff confirmed Geyser was no longer there and a GPS device had been cut and had left the residence.

After EMC staff learned Geyser was not at the residence and that the GPS had been tampered with, they immediately contacted the Division of Community Corrections on-call supervisor. During that call, the operator informed the supervisor Geyser had rem
