KENNESAW, Ga. — Kennesaw State University has signed head football coach Jerry Mack to a new six-year contract, securing him for KSU through the 2031 season.

The extension comes after a standout first year for Mack , who led KSU to a dramatic turnaround in its debut season being bowl eligible at the FBS level. After inheriting a team that finished 2–10 a year earlier, he guided the Owls to a 10–3 record and an improbable run for the Conference USA championship in just its second season at the FBS level.

University President Kathy S. Schwaig praised Mack’s impact on and off the field, saying he has brought integrity and a strong sense of community to the program.
