FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth officials are preparing to crack down on properties plagued by crime and repeated code violations through a new pilot program set to begin in January.
The Nuisance Enforcement Task Force (NET Force) will target three properties identified as repeat offenders:
Eco Motel on East Lancaster
Rocky's I and Rocky's II on Hemphill Street
Sandy Oak Apartments on Sandy Lane
Ten city departments are collaborating on the six-month initiative. It will combine resources from code enforcement, police and fire departments to compel property owners to address ongoing issues.
