The Warren County Board of Supervisors tabled a request on Tuesday to rezone 444 acres abutting a subdivision for industrial use.
Chairman Jerome K. “Jay” Butler, Vice Chairman John W. Stanmeyer and supervisors Cheryl L. Cullers, Hugh B. Henry and Richard A. Jamieson voted in favor of tabling Slate Run Farm LLC’s application to rezone 443.74 acres from agricultural to industrial use, and 4.47 acres at Toray Drive from agricultural to commercial use.
Slate Run Farm filed the rezoning application in 2023. Since then, and up to days before the board took up the request, the applicant has adjusted the proffers, or cash contributions toward the development’s impact on the county.
