French World Cup winner and AS Monaco star Paul Pogba ventured into territories anew on Wednesday as he completed formalities to became a shareholder and ambassador for a professional Saudi ‌Arabia-based camel racing team, Al Haboob.

The former Juventus and Manchester United star said he was a fan of the sport, which is a popular and lucrative evet in the Middle Eastern regions.

“As a shareholder, Pogba has a genuine stake in the team’s future, from its storytelling and media ‍strategy to its community programs," Al Haboob said in a statement.

“As ambassador, he becomes a bridge between cultures, introducing camel racing to audiences who may be discovering it for the first time."
