FARGO — Eero Butella knows he has the size, now he’s working on fine tuning his game.

The 6-foot-5 forward scored his fourth goal of the season last Friday for the Fargo Force, and much like the team, he’s finding opportunities to score, just not burying them at a higher rate.

Butella scored against Muskegon’s red-hot goaltender Carl Axelsson in Fargo’s 2-1 loss last Friday. Going without a goal until Nov. 8, he scored against Youngstown in a 4-3 win on Nov. 15 and against Chicago in a 4-2 loss on Nov. 28.

"The size stands out to you but he does have a pretty good skill set as far as his ability on the puck to make plays," Force head coach and general manager Brett Skinner said. "Also, more importantly, is his release and his shot. You know when he's going, he can really wire the puck."
