You may recall Mill Village Ministries launched a restaurant incubator, Hone, earlier this year as a mentorship program to help budding restaurateurs. The program is a collaboration between the nonprofit and local restaurateur John Ko, who founded Local Taco in 2008.

When the program began, it was a monthly workshop that primarily provided business guidance. Ko and Mill Village Executive Director Dan Weidenbenner also wanted to offer practical knowledge in a physical space. On Dec. 15, that hope will come to fruition in the former Driftwood location at 12 Lois Ave. in Greenville, just a few blocks from the main Mill Village Ministries campus on Pendleton Street.

The nonprofit is utilizing the full suite, with half dedicated to private dining and specialty dinners.
