Michigan dismissed its head coach, Sherrone Moore on Wednesday afternoon. The university stated that Moore was “involved in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.”

Now that Michigan will be looking for a head coach, a handful of names will emerge. Sports Illustrated’s Bryan Fischer named former Patriots assistant coach Brian Daboll as a possible candidate.

“Before Penn State hired Matt Campbell, it seriously considered the former Giants (Daboll) head coach,” Fischer wrote on Wednesday. “He is not a novice to the college game, and his work with quarterbacks could be very appealing if quarterback Bryce Underwood sticks around campus for the next two years.”
