NORTHFIELD, Minn. — A sparkling 16-0 run to start the third quarter and 24 points from Maya Metcalf helped fuel Concordia to an 80-54 win over St. Olaf on Wednesday in MIAC women's basketball.
Metcalf was 8 of 11 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, and was 5 of 6 from the free throw line. She also had five rebounds, three assists, three blocks and a steal.
Molly Musland was 6 of 7 from the floor and hit all three of her 3-point attempts on her way to 15 points. Taya Jeffrey and Genevieve Gruba each added seven.
Collectively, the Cobbers (7-1, 3-0 MIAC) hit on 63.6% (7 of 11) from 3-point territory.
St. Olaf was paced by Joy Bradenstein's 15 points.
