A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a crash Wednesday morning in Hingham, Massachusetts.

Police responded to the crash on Main Street around 11:20 a.m.

The victim was treated at the scene and taken to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, who stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, was also transported to South Shore Hospital, police said.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
