A school bus overturned in the snow Wednesday in Vermont, one of dozens of weather-related crashes across the state.
Vermont State Police said troopers responded to 44 crashes in which weather was a factor between midnight and 3 p.m.

No students were on the bus when it went off Route 12 in Middlesex. The driver suffered minor injuries.
Police said 29 crashes happened in the northern part of the state, with 15 in southern Vermont. Fourteen crashes occurred on interstate highways.
No significant injuries were reported in any of the crashes, police said.
Authorities urged caution on the roads in winter weather.
