FOXBOROUGH - In theory, the Patriots will have several opportunities to wrap up the AFC East over the course of the remaining four games.
They don’t need to come out victorious Sunday against Buffalo for that to happen. A loss wouldn’t prevent that from ultimately happening.
But Drake Maye strongly urged the team not to mess around. He wants his team to finish the job done when the Patriots (11-2) host the second-place Bills (9-4) this weekend.
He doesn’t want to give Josh Allen’s team any spark of hope.
“I think it’s important. It’s really important to do it here, do it while we have a chance to face them head-to-head,” Maye said during his media session Wednesday. “There’s no better way to win the division than with the team that’s fighting to crawl back and to keep themselves
