HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - To wrap up the first night of the Girls WYMT Food City Mountain Basketball Classic, No. 1 North Laurel faced Leslie County and won, 72-39.

North Laurel opened up the game on a 13-2 run.

The Lady Jaguars would keep up that intensity throughout the game, taking a 51-17 lead at the half.

North Laurel will face Knox Central at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday in the semifinal round.

The Jaguars and Panthers met in the Mountain Classic Championship last year, and North Laurel brought home the gold with a 73-37 victory.
