BOISE, Idaho — Pearson Carmichael scored 26 points off the bench, while Boise native Drew Fielder dropped 23 points of his own and Boise State throttled the Duquesne Dukes 86-64 at Extra Mile Arena Wednesday night.
Javon Buchannen got opened the scoring 21 seconds into the matchup and from there, Boise State would not trail for the rest of the game. Carmichael checked in five minutes into the game, and would not waste any time making his presence felt.
The 6'7 sophomore hit a career high five three-pointers and finished the first half with 19 points as the Broncos took a commanding 45-30 lead into the locker room.
