Power has been restored.

KENNEWICK, Wash. – A power outage in Kennewick is affecting 1,057 customers in the Clearwater Ave area between Edison St and Neel St.

Benton PUD attributed the outage to a short circuit on its distribution power lines.

Crews responded quickly to locate wires down at Union and Clearwater.

They are working to restore power safely, with an estimated restoration time of 10:00 p.m.
