A series of powerful portraits by North East students is shining a light on the people behind the nation’s care.

Titled Future Care, the photography exhibit celebrates healthcare workers - past, present, and future - through the lens of University of Sunderland students and their lecturer, Johannah Churchill.

The project centres on photography as a storytelling medium, using images to explore the personal and professional realities of those who care for others.
