Residents are being asked to give their feedback on proposed improvements to a North East town's High Street.

A new public consultation on a Yarm regeneration scheme led by Stockton Council opened Wednesday (December 10), following a pause in the process after public opposition and a petition.

The proposals form part of a £20 million Levelling Up Fund investment for Yarm and Eaglescliffe and focus on shaping the future of Yarm’s central shopping and community area.

Councillor Richard Eglington, cabinet member for regeneration and housing, said: "We’re urging residents, businesses and visitors to have their say on the proposed improvements to Yarm High Street.
