Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday praised Home Minister Amit Shah for his “outstanding” speech in Parliament, where the Home Minister countered Opposition allegations on the electoral process and also responded to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s charge of “vote theft”.

In a post on X, PM Modi said that HM Shah had presented “concrete facts” while addressing concerns raised by the Opposition over the electoral system, adding that the Home Minister had highlighted the robustness of India’s democratic processes and “exposed the lies” being circulated in recent days.
