A worldwide brand has announced the opening dates of its first ever Liverpool store. Rassams Creamy is gearing up to launch in the heart of the city, having found a new home at the bottom of Duke Street.

The dessert parlour is renowned for its wide variety of sweet treats and drinks, having sites in Yorkshire and the Midlands as well as further afield in Kenya. At the age of 14, owner Rassam Alyafai began helping his father in the family business.

Once he finished college, the entrepreneur bought the business from him “after saving every penny he ever earned”. Having his own corner shop, Rassam sold a variety of products ranging from your average bread and milk to savoury products .
