MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -WMTV Share Your Holidays has provided meals for families in southern Wisconsin for 30 years.

Thanks to your generosity, you have helped us raise $1,737,236!

On Wednesday, the 30th WMTV Share Your Holidays campaign concluded with Phone-A-Thon and Sort-A-Thon.

Our goal was to raise $1.5 million to support Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin.

The campaign started as a one-day food drive in a grocery store parking lot in 1996.

The mother of founder Mike McKinney, Barbara, said Share Your Holidays sparked from her son’s own experience of being hungry as a child.
