Cold winds will blow through the day. Although we may start in the upper 30s, we’ll fall to the low 30s (and some upper 20s in the Worcester Hills) by evening . Gusts could top 40 mph through the day as last night’s storm intensifies across the Maritime Provinces.

The coming days won’t be bitterly cold, but they certainly won’t measure up to yesterday’s 49 degrees. We’ll see highs in the low to mid 30s both Friday and Saturday. Our attention then turns to Sunday , as a quick-moving storm system tracks far south of Nantucket, spreading a little light snow our way.
