CINCINNATI, Ohio — The NFL finalized its Week 17 schedule on Wednesday , and that includes when the matchup between the Bengals and Cardinals will be.

The two teams will play on Sunday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. with FOX broadcasting the game.

The matchup was considered for a while as a possibility of being part of a Saturday doubleheader. But with the playoffs looking unlikely for the 4-9 Bengals and the 3-10 Cardinals, they instead get the 1 p.m. Sunday slot.
