A teenager was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Tameside . Emergency services descended on Grafton Street, close to Hyde town centre, at around 5.40pm on Wednesday evening (December 11).

Witnesses reported seeing a large police presence in the area, with a cordon in place on the street. Greater Manchester Police says a 15-year-old boy suffered injuries to his leg and back.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening. No arrests have been made so far and an investigation is underway.

A GMP spokesperson said: "At around 5.40pm yesterday (Wednesday, December 10 2025), we were called to reports of a stabbing on Grafton Street, Hyde. A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with injuries to his leg and back.
