The University of Michigan moved to fire Sherrone Moore on Wednesday, a day that saw the football coach end up in police custody following an alleged assault outside Ann Arbor.
Moore’s tenure ends after less than two years on the job, one he was promoted to following the departure of Jim Harbaugh.
Now, athletic director Warde Manuel and Michigan will have to go in a different direction with a coaching carousel beginning to slow.
