Those who have recently departed O2 or attempted to do so have received an important warning. Money Saving Expert (MSE) reports the telecommunications firm has incorrectly added several hundred pounds to certain final bills as subscribers attempted to terminate their agreements.

According to MSE, anyone impacted by O2 's tariff increase was entitled to terminate airtime agreements without penalty, whilst continuing to settle any handset agreement through regular instalments.
