PORTLAND, Maine — Portland fire crews responded to an “all hands” fire Thursday at 115 Lancaster St., urging drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area if possible.

The department said in a 5:24 a.m. social media post that multiple companies were operating at the scene and asked the public to use caution while emergency personnel worked to control the blaze.

As of 8:15 a.m., there was no fire scene, no apparent fire damage, and traffic was operating normally.

No additional details about injuries or the extent of the fire were immediately available.
