Moment gunman 'targets Edinburgh home of crime boss associate'

Shocking video footage has shown the moment a gunman fired shots at the home of an associate of cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson.

Nicky Robertson discharged three shots from a Glock handgun into the window of the property in Niddrie Marischal Crescent, Edinburgh, at 3am on March 20, amid a gangland war raging across Scotland. The clip shows the masked gunman charging towards the house before firing three bullets into the front of the property.

The video was filmed by an accomplice. In the clip, bullets are heard ringing out in the quiet street.

Robertson, 39, was convicted at the High Court in Edinburgh today.
