PARMA, Ohio

Pipe bomb, Snow Road: On Nov. 15, police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a BMW with a loud muffler traveling on Snow Road.

That’s when the driver fled at a high rate of speed eastbound before losing control and striking two vehicles.

Both occupants were ordered from vehicle with the Parma driver, 18, taken into custody.

Officers discovered what appeared to be a homemade pipe bomb inside the vehicle.

It was secured by the bomb squad.

Charges are pending.

Identity fraud, Broadview Road: On Nov. 15, a Broadview Road resident made a startling discovery.

They noticed four unauthorized withdrawals on their bank statement.

There are no suspects.

Police are investigating.
