In an incident only the Grinch could love, a Madison resident allegedly attacked another woman with a Christmas tree during a domestic disturbance.

According to Madison Police Department reports, a woman alleged that she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend, Patricia Nicole Hall, 27, of Madison, at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the ex-boyfriend’s residence on Overlook Drive.

The victim stated that she went to that location with their 4-year-old son to do laundry. The ex-boyfriend was not home at the time, Madison Police Department reports state.

Reports state that while the victim was doing laundry, Hall came into the residence through the garage and began to attack her.
