SANDUSKY, Ohio — Ready... Set... Ride on!

Cedar Point has just revealed that the Sandusky amusement park will open for another season of thrills on May 9, 2026. The hours for opening day are listed as 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

For those keeping track, the May 9 opening date is just 149 days from today (Dec. 11).

In addition to the opening day announcement, Cedar Point's site currently lists the full 2026 operating calendar , which shows the following:

The Cedar Point Shores water park will open for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 23. The water park's last day of operation will be Monday, Aug. 31.

Cedar Point's daily operations begin once the park opens for the season. Their final day of operation is currently slated for Sunday, Nov. 1.
