A new Kenilworth junction is an "accident waiting to happen" according to a Kenilworth councillor.

The new road layout around Thickthorn Gardens on Glasshouse Lane has now been put in place, following months of works in the area.

The new junction includes a pedestrian crossing as well as a tighter bend on the busy road.

Speaking at last week's full Kenilworth Town Council meeting, Cllr Richard Dickson raised concerns.

"Lots of local residents have been contacting councillors on is the removal of the traffic lights on Glasshouse Lane by the Thickthorn Gardens development and the creation of what could be a seriously dangerous junction there," he explained.
