Former U.S. Rep. David Trone announced on Thursday morning that he will run again for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 6th District next year, taking on the incumbent, April McClain Delaney, in a Democratic primary.

Trone held the office for three two-year terms, from 2019 to 2025.
