Former U.S. Rep. David Trone announced on Thursday morning that he will run again for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 6th District next year, taking on the incumbent, April McClain Delaney, in a Democratic primary.
After Trone's announcement, McClain Delaney said he "abandoned" the 6th District when he instead ran unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in 2024. "He has the arrogance of a Trump," she said in a statement.
