New Delhi: Union Minister for Communications, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, met with Lauren Dreyer, Vice President of Starlink Business Operations at SpaceX, to discuss expanding satellite-based internet services in India.

The discussions focused on leveraging Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency satellite internet to reach rural and remote areas where traditional broadband infrastructure is limited or absent.

Scindia shared the meeting on social media, emphasizing that the discussions were aimed at advancing “satellite-based last-mile access across India” and supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a digitally empowered nation.
