Stephen A. Smith is disappointed in Sherrone Moore for a variety of reasons. The ESPN commentator shared his thoughts on Michigan’s football coach getting fired during Thursday’s episode of “First Take.”

Moore was fired Wednesday, after two seasons as head coach, for an inappropriate relationship with a staff member . Smith said he feels bad for Moore’s wife and young daughters.

“He’s 39 years of age. He’s a grown man. And to put himself in this position is egregious,” Smith said.

“It’s incredibly disappointing — to be the first Black coach as well, that’s another angle,” Smith added.
