The overall weather pattern is about to change over the northern hemisphere. A significant warm-up is forming, and may make it tough for some of us in Michigan to have a white Christmas.
We are obviously currently in a much-colder-than-normal weather pattern. Old Man Winter has been locked in on Michigan around Thanksgiving and hasn’t let up. In fact, December is running 11 degrees colder than normal. If a month finished out that far from normal, it would be one of the coldest Decembers on record.
That record cold December is not going to happen, as we have a temperature swing coming that will send Michigan five to 15 degrees warmer than normal on individual days.
