CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Chatham County has created and launched its first-ever family-friendly animated series designed to teach residents about local government operations.

“Chatty Chatham” features animated characters who explain county functions including parks, public safety, budgets, and zoning. The series aims to show how government decisions affect residents’ daily lives.

The premiere episode, “Zoning Schmoning,” focuses on land use and planning. The episode follows “the critters of Team Chatham” as they teach Melvin the Mosquito about zoning regulations and their importance to the community.
